PHYSICAL EDUCATION
For bachelor students the physical education is an obligatory course-unit during the first and the second semester. The senior students of bachelor courses and students of master courses may register the physical education as an elective subject („C” type, 1 credit).
Due to the pandemic Physical education classes are currently cancelled.
LEISURE SPORTS OPPORTUNITIES
We are constantly expanding the services of the sports facilities located on the Gödöllő Campus of Szent István University. There are free sports opportunities of leisure sports, and university citizens also have the opportunity to attend group classes at discounted rates.
Unfortunately, due to the epidemic, we have several services that are currently unavailable, as soon as the virus situation allows, we will restart these sports facilities.
In order to make our services more transparent and tangible, we would like to help you find your way with the following summary. We hope everyone finds the right form of movement for their own level, determination and vision.

Football on the small artificial grass field
Every weekday from 16:00 - 17:00
The track is not open on public holidays. Students need a student ID card to prove their legal status, for faculty and staff any personal document is appropriate.

"My name is Zoltán Kovács and I run the Sports Office within the Student Services Center. I studied at SZIU as an animal husbandry engineer and was a member of the Student Government at the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences throughout my years at Gödöllő Campus. Within my sports qualifications I can list athletics coaching, physical education coaching and sports organizing management graduating from the University of Physical Education. I was a certified competitor of the Athletics Department at the Gödöllő University Athletics Club and a 50-time National Team athlete. In addition to my work within the Student Services Center, I am the coach of GEAC and the Youth Team Federal Captain of the Hungarian Athletics Association. My goal/our goal is to create the possible highest quality opportunities for students in cooperation with the Student Government and the Sports Office.
