Corning Hungary is looking for a

Finance Trainee

We offer 3 months traineeship with an option to extend it further if business needs will require. At Corning you will be able to take part in the every-day work of our shared services center, get familiar with our complex processes and attain the bases of financial practices.

Job Summary:

The Trainee supports the company’s efforts of process improvement, data reporting and analyzing by executing small or medium size technical developments.

• Improve the efficiency of the currently used VBA and macro tools
• Develop new VBA / macro tools in line with the business needs to reduce non-value add manual work
• Improve the company’s data reporting and analyzing process

Education:

Ongoing or finished studies at a University or College (IT engineering, International Business, Finance, and Accounting or Economics) – certificate of active student status is not necessary

Required Skills:

• English knowledge

• Affinity for data analytics
• Affinity for process improvements
• Excellent Computer literacy in Microsoft products (Excel, VBA, Macro)
• Ability to manage 20 hours’ work week

Desired Skills:

• Project Analyst experience
• Familiar with Six sigma and/or Lean methodology
• Experience in Microsoft Power BI and Access

 Soft Skills:

• Team player
• Good communication skills
• Accuracy
• Fast learning
